Mary D. had posted a comment earlier which I thought could use its own post.  It's How Can We Contact Some of Our Classmates?  For many of you, at least half, we have email contact.  For others we have a current mailing address.  But, there are a few where we have no recent contact information.  Can you help us with these?

Updated Classmate Information is Available

I'm not sure how easy it is to tell when we've updated some of the Classmate information; so, I'll try to summarize it occasionally.

On the Classmates page you can see current, as far as I know, pictures of Jerry Elick and Evan Gerard.  Also, the entries for Russell Conn and Evan have a summary of life since high school graduation.

The Classmates M - Z page has a now picture of Lenny Matthias and his summary.  And I have my summary there.

These came from either emails to me (wrmesser[at]gmail[dot]com), which is how we are handling pictures, or comments on the website at the Let Us Know What Has Been Happening With You page.  Please add your comments or email.

Past Class Pictures - 6th Grade and Senior Class Pictures

Thanks to Evan, we have copies of some of our class pictures!  First, some of us in 6th grade (1954-1955 if my math is correct) along with some members of that years 5th grade class.  This was when we had Miss Heiberger as our teacher.  Can you identify everyone?

And this is the senior class picture.  No points for identifying people in this one.  Although the labels were blurry by the time I blew them up enough to read!

Did You Receive Your 50th Class Reunion Mailing?

It certainly seems early; but, 2011 will mean it has been 50 years!  So it is not too early to begin thinking about it and putting it on your calendar.

Thanks to Mary D., notices have just gone out to our Iowa Valley Class members.  Or at least the ones she has an address for.   If you haven't received one (or if you just want to say hello), please use the comments below to let us know how you are, how to reach you, and your suggestions.  Putting your email address as something like:  wrmesser[at]gmail[dot]com will help avoid the spambots and still allow us to reach you.

The dates to save are July 1-3, 2011 (and/or the 4th) for events in or around Marengo.  Tentative plans are for an informal get together on Friday, July 1; a reunion dinner the evening of Saturday, July 2; and enjoying the Marengo 4th of July festivities on Sunday, July 3.  (The latter may be an individual rather than a group event.)
